Route One: Shanghai Half Day Tour

Begin with a visit to the Yuyuan Garden, a classic creation of the Ming Dynasty, and the old street of Shanghai, originated in the Qing Dynasty. Followed by the tour to the Bund, well known as the International Architecture Exhibition of the west side. Then visit to the Former French Concession in the coach and the last stop of the tour will be Xin Tian Di, the old fashion architecture style of Shanghai stone gate neighbors with the newly renovated nightlife district with many boutiques, pubs and restaurants.

Tour Summary
Suzhou is located near the east shore of lake Taihu where the Grand Canal joins the Yangtze River. It is surrounded by more than 20 lakes and is called “Venice of China”. It was once the capital of the State of Wu during the late Autumn & Spring Period more than 2500 years ago. Su Zhou is a place of great beauty. It has been known since ancient times together with Hangzhou as “the paradise on the earth”. Within this trip, you will be leaded to the Tiger Hill, Suzhou Museum, Master of Nets Garden, Silk factory, Panmen Ancient City Wall and Grand Canal.

Tour Summary
Zhouzhuang is about 1 hour drive from Shanghai, and is well known for its beautiful natural environment and simple architecture, this city has remained remarkably well-preserved for over 900 years. The majority of the town’s residences were built during the Ming and Qing dynasties; nearly 100 classic courtyards and 60 carved-brick archways from those periods are still in use!

Founded around 600 BC, Suzhou is one of the oldest settlements in the Yangtze basin. Often referred to as the “Venice of the East,” its neighborhoods and interconnected waterways are truly a masterpiece. Suzhou was one of the few cities in China to escape the ravages of the Cultural Revolution, its celebrated gardens miraculously surviving largely intact. Visit the Master of Nets Garden, Suzhou Museum, Panmen Ancient City Wall, Grand Canal, and a silk factory while in Suzhou.

– 20% cancellation fee will apply for all confirmed bookings canceled more than 24 hours in advance. 50% cancellation fee will apply for all confirmed bookings canceled within 24 hours in advance. Any no shows of confirmed booking are not refundable.
– Tour itinerary or transportation so described is subject to change in the event of adverse traffic conditions, traffic control, important events.
– The approximate pickup will be advised one day in advance of tour date.
– All listed tour lengths are a time frame based on the normal traffic, it might be shorten or prolonged depends on the day by day traffic conditions.
– If less than 5 delegates sign up for a specific route, the route might be cancelled and the tour fees will be fully refunded.

 


MEETING REGISTRATION CANCELLATION POLICY & LIABILITY
By Conference Delegate:

A refund, less $75.00 USD administrative fee, will be issued only with a “written cancellation request” received on or before August 31, 2023. Telephone cancellations are not accepted. Registration fees will be refunded to person who paid fees, by the same method of payment (i.e. credit card, check, etc.). In the case of a credit card payment, only to the same credit card used to pay fees. No refunds after August 31, 2023.

The ICP reserves the right to cancel, shorten, delay, or otherwise alter or change meeting in their discretion. If the entire meeting is cancelled the ICP sole obligation is to refund fees paid to ICP for the meeting. If the meeting is delayed, shortened or otherwise altered or changed the ICP is under no obligation to refund conference registration fees. Fees will only be refunded to the person who paid fees, by the same method as the original payment (i.e. credit card, check, etc.) and in the case of a credit card only to the same credit card used to pay fees. ICP is not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or damages of any other kind, regardless of the nature of the cause of action that may be asserted. ICP is not responsible and shall not pay for costs associated with travel, airfare, lodging, food, transportation or other costs or losses incurred by a registrant in connection with the meeting or as a result of the meeting being cancelled, shortened, delayed, or otherwise altered or changed. Registrants are solely responsible for such costs and losses and it is recommended that registrants consider purchasing sufficient insurance to cover such costs and losses. Under no circumstances shall the ICP liability to any registrant exceed the registration fees paid by the registrant to ICP in connection with the meeting.
